Our love story began on September 2, 2017 when we were introduced by our mutual friend, Allen, at his birthday party. There weren't many words exchanged between us throughout the night, but we began to make conversation as people were leaving the party. Before we knew it, everyone was either gone or had went to bed and we were still awake at 6am watching a Catfish marathon on MTV! A couple days later, we went to the lake together and then to watch the Tennessee football game with some mutual friends. After the game was over, I left without even telling Chase goodbye because I didn't think he was interested (he never even asked for my phone number!), but he ended up getting my number from a friend later that night. He texted me immediately after to make sure I made it home and we've talked every single day since! A few days later, we went on our first actual date to Aubrey's and stayed there for over 2 hours just talking. After only our second date, Chase had already asked me to spend New Year's with him at a Jimmy Buffett concert in Nashville (I didn't even know a single Jimmy Buffett song), but I'm so glad I said yes! Fast forward through many more dates, trips, adventures, football games, and concerts, Chase decided to plan a trip for us to Europe in September of last year, and of course, Jimmy Buffett concerts were involved. The trip included three stops, Dublin, London, and Paris, and a total of four concerts. Paris was the last stop and Chase had told me that we were meeting up with a bunch of our concert friends in front of the Eiffel Tower for a group picture and then going to brunch. The morning of September 26, 2019, we got dressed and headed to the meeting spot by the Eiffel Tower. When we arrived, nobody was there, so Chase asked this random lady to take our picture in front of the Eiffel Tower while we waited. Little did I know, the lady was actually a photographer and Chase had orchestrated this whole fake plan so that he could ask me to marry him!!
